I have been away from FT58 for some time, but I thought I would provide some feedback from almost outsider’s point of view.
The only two areas that I think could do with being reviewed is the costing of the yearly subscription and the rank system.
SITE MEMBERSHIPS
Personally I think it is a good idea, but as others have said if you only go once a month it really does not benefit the player, maybe if they plan to buy alot of kit and guns.
RANK STRUCTURE FOR MEMBERS
In terms of the ranking system, it is maybe to military for those players that want to just go down and fire guns. Also not everyone is clued up on the military terms or wants to be.
You have examples of COLOUR SERGEANT CROZIER, SERGEANT CROZIER and so on. I personally think keep it simple, because no one is going to spend alot of their time learning this. Also I think having Platoons sized units is abit of wishful thinking. I work with the Scouts and they have a great system. They are broken up into Patrols with a Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader. So what I’m saying is I’m not going to remember who is the Colour Sergeant Crozier or the other one is. If it is simple I’ll remember it, however I’m not saying use the example I have given, but consider something like this.
This is just my feedback Sam, so I hope you don’t view this as some attack.

| I think that too many people seem to not understand that Foxtrot 58 is a MILSIM site, and therefore tactics and stratagy are used. The rank system in my opinion will assist new comers to the site in that they will always have someone to turn to if they have any questions and there will be someone there that has a fair idea of what is going on and what to do in certain situations.
I honestly believe that all these new things will make the experience better for everyone and I also think that people who want to see our sport become more realistic and more enjoyable for us to play should give support to the new ideas and at least give them a chance to see how they pan out. |
