RULES
Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Your gun is your responsibility at all times. Do not use it in an illegal manner, we do not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or broken guns. Your gun must be made completely safe (mag out, gun cleared, safety on) while outside gaming areas. A player breaking this rule will be removed from the site immediately.
Larger teams can submit a second team but this second team must play under a different name. There cannot be any swapping of players between teams.
There will be no camp fires or bbq’s allowed on any part of the site.
All TEAMS must pay their deposit in advance. Team deposit is 200 euro.
There will be no “bang kills” in use. Players are advised to wear full face protection. You must wear proper eye protection at all times while in the gaming area.
Each team will be limited to 10,000 bb’s per game. (excluding the two final rounds of the tournament)
There will be yellow, red and black cards in use. A minor offence will incur a yellow card, which is a warning. Two yellows in one game will mean a red card. If a player receives a red card, he is out of the game. If a player receives a black card, he will be out of the entire tournament.
Black cards will only be issued to persons who engage in repeat offending or for a serious offence.
Each team will have one substitute. This player cannot be used though to replace players who have been red or black carded.
All AEG’s, GBB’s and airsoft devices must be stored in a safe place, once the gaming on each day is over. Any player breaking this rule will receive a black card and will be removed from the site.
We do not have a problem with persons consuming alcohol in the evening. They must, however, be able to produce a legitimate I.D. and they must behave in a responsible manner. If you break these rules you will be immediately removed from the site by security personnel. You will also receive a life-time ban from the site and from any other Take Aim Tournaments. Any person who engages in illegal activity will be reported to the Gardai.
Each team will be issued with a particular coloured armband. All team players must keep this armband on during the gaming hours for identification purposes.
Gaming rules are as follows: A player blatantly not taking a hit will be red carded. If he is caught twice he will be black carded.
There will be no blind firing. This means sticking your gun around a corner and firing blindly. However, a player is permitted to fire through tyres, pallets, holes in walls, through vehicle windows, etc. Our view is “if you can see it, you can shoot it.”
Each game will have a number of marshals plus a head marshal. You cannot verbally abuse a marshal. If you have a problem with a marshal, you may bring it to the attention of the head marshal and he will monitor the situation. If you do verbally abuse a marshal, you will receive a straight red card.
You cannot verbally abuse an opposition player on or off the field. This means, screaming “take your hit” and so on. A player caught doing this will be issued with a yellow card. It is down to the marshals to deal with cheaters. Allow them to do their job.
All weapons will be chronographed before each game. Any player with a gun over the 1 Joule limit will not be allowed to play. There will be absolutely no exceptions to the rule. Make sure your gun is totally legal and functional before the event, to avoid disappointment.
Non team players are more than welcome on site and there will be numerous activities for them to get involved in. All of the above rules will also apply to non team players.
This tournament will be the largest Ireland has ever seen. We want it to run smoothly and in a professional manner. We urge you all to behave in a proper fashion, to obey all rules and regulations. Organisers and security staff will be very strict during the weekend, so don’t break the rules and enjoy yourself.
All rules will be further explained to team captains on the practice day.
