| HI lads, Was only there for saturday's gaming but I had a great time. Brilliant site and the scenario was excellent. Can't wait to head back up again. Must say that the Argentine boys really had their arses handed to them. haha! I think I picked the right team to join on the day! Seriously though, thanks to everyone for making me and my bro feel welcome. Congratulations to Big Sam for a kick ass event. Super stuff! |

| What can I say,I have had some fantastic airsoft weekends at F58 but this one just blew away the others. The challenge was terrific - some rough terrain, realistic missions, difficult objectives that needed people to think and work as teams, not charge right in. The players on both sides stepped right up to the mark and met the challenge head on.
The result was some really terrific fights. And despite the fierce combat and the exertion, everyone seemed to stay in such good spirits, the only bitching I heard was me playfully ticking off Sam for leaving my section to do most of the work.
Thanks to the good spirits and enthusiiasm of the players, the atmosphere was fantastic. Players weren't just dressed up in authentic-looking kit, they also really got in character. At one point I got told off by an Argie prisoner - Adde I think - who insisted on his Geneva convention rights about being taken to safety;taking my cue from him, I "snarled" back that he should tell that to his mates who were busy shooting the crap out of us ina tough firefight around "Top Malo House"! It was hard work but it was just incredible fun, too.
My only regret is that the Argentine players might feel let down to have lost out so often but they put in a terrific performance and gave the Brits a tough time. In particular, the Saturday phase and even more so, the Battle for the Bunkers and Stanley on Sunday were very close-run fights which could have gone either way. They also kept up their effort overnight, and in fact beat us to the punch by mounting a superbly-timed dawn attack on our patrol base. This nearly caught us packing to move out and was only detected because I decided to do a short prowl out to the perimeter "just in case".
Well done EVERYBODY!
Well, Sam, you pulled it off in style - your most ambitious project so far, and it was a great success. Can't wait for the next one! |

| News Flash - following complaints through diplomatic channels from the Government of Argentina, Scotland Yard has launched an investigation into alleged war criimes by British Forces. The allegation is that a hand grenade was thrown into a room in Top Malo House which was full of unarmed Argentine POWs, resulting in a number of deaths and serious injuries, Anyone with information on this alleged incident should contact Inspector Robert Plod, Scotland Yard, London. |
